                   AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING AN ALLEYWAY
                   LOCATED NORTHWEST FROM SECOND AVENUE, BETWEEN
                   EAST 31ST STREET PLACE AND EAST 32ND STREET,
                   MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS SHOWN ON THE
                   ATTACHED APPLICATION.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby 
closed
         and abandoned an alleyway located northwest from Second Avenue, 

         beween East 31st Street Place and East 32nd Street, more
         particularly described as shown on the attached application.    
      
                          
                A 10 foot wide alleyway beginning on the northwest
                line of 2nd Avenue 135 feet southwest of the
                intersection of the northwest line of 2nd Avenue
                with the southwest line of East 31st Street Place,
                and extending northwest 90 feet between parallel
                lines.  Said alleyway separates lots 26 and 27 from
                lots 50 and 51, Ruoff's Addition, as shown by plat
                of record in plat book 6, page 57, R.O.H.C.  Tax
                Map No. 156P-J-10, 11, and 22.
               
               
              	   SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance 

         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage as 
provided
         by law.
